Join us at Walker Town Farm where farmer and florist, Jenny Hite, will guide you in harvesting flowers and designing a beautiful arrangement. You will receive:

• instruction on the proper way to harvest and handle cut flowers

• a short guided tour

• Pick-your-own bucket of flowers

• Step-by-step guidance to create a beautiful garden style arrangement using farm-grown summer blooms such as dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, celosia, and more. You will learn floral design techniques, see a demonstration, and design your own arrangement in a keepsake vessel.

  All tools, supplies, and materials are included in the cost of the workshop. Please feel free to bring your own beverage if desired.

Workshops are more fun with friends! You will have a more enjoyable experience if you attend this workshop with someone you know, so grab a friend and register together!

Walker Town Farm is located in beautiful Black Mountain. Follow directions to Walker Town Rd, Black Mountain, NC. Our farm is about 1/4 mile up the road on the left. Park in the designated gravel lot. Jenny will be waiting to greet you!

This workshop is best suited for participants age 16 and older and is limited to 10 participants. Please do not bring pets, unregistered adults, or children with you to this event. Due to the perishable nature and advance preparation of this workshop, this ticket is nonrefundable. We reserve the right to cancel this workshop at anytime for any reason. If we cancel, you will be refunded. Rain date: July 24th.

Please note, this workshop takes place outdoors. We have uneven terrain and recommend wearing closed toed shoes. No public restrooms available.
