Join us at Walker Town Farm where farmer and florist, Jenny Hite, will guide you step by step to create a beautiful, wearable flower crown using farm-grown summer blooms. You will learn floral design techniques, see a demonstration, and design your own flower crown complete with ribbon tie. All tools, supplies, and materials are included in the cost of the workshop. Please feel free to bring your own beverage if desired.

Blooms used for this workshop will include some of our favorite “everlasting flowers” so you may dry your crown after making. Our u-pick fields will be open for a private “pick-your-own” after the workshop for an additional $30.

Workshops are more fun with friends! You will have a more enjoyable experience if you attend this workshop with someone you know, so grab a friend and register together!

Walker Town Farm is located in beautiful Black Mountain. Follow directions to Walker Town Rd, Black Mountain, NC. Our farm is about 1/4 mile up the road on the left. Park in the designated gravel lot. Jenny will be waiting to greet you!

This workshop is best suited for participants age 16 and older and is limited to 10 participants. Please do not bring pets, unregistered adults, or children with you to this event. Due to the perishable nature and advance preparation of this workshop, this ticket is nonrefundable. We reserve the right to cancel this workshop at anytime for any reason. If we cancel, you will be refunded. Rain date: July 19th.

Please note, this workshop takes place outdoors. We have uneven terrain and recommend wearing closed toed shoes. No public restrooms available.
